During this period, I returned to working on both larger scales and smaller pieces. Although I frequently painted on large canvases during my studies, the opportunity for a solo show in the expansive space of a private museum renewed my motivation and dedication. My works explored the possibilities of presenting fragments of my memories, layering them into open-ended stories on the canvases. My goal was to expand the interpretive potential of my painting style for viewers. I thoroughly enjoyed the mental and physical shift between creating large and very small works. I realized that the time it takes me to produce a piece is almost the same, regardless of size. The size doesn’t matter; it’s just a different playground.
